Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County is a special-purpose local government created in 1986 and reauthorized in 2014. The Council provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county's children so they are born healthy, growing up safe, ready to learn when they enter school and able to access quality afterschool and summer programming.
To do this, the Council starts early – providing children and their families services that help pregnant mothers stay healthy, strengthen family bonds and prepare children for school. By giving children the fundamental tools they need early in life, we help lower the long-term costs of health care, child welfare and criminal justice. That saves us all money and makes our community stronger.
