Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County's Background
In 1986, the residents of Palm Beach County recognized the widening gap between the growing needs of children and their families and the limited resources available to meet those needs. In response, they voted overwhelmingly to create an independent district of local government – the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County – to specifically support services for the county’s most vulnerable: Our children.
Today, Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County (CSC) provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county's children so they grow up healthy, safe and strong.
