Biography

Judge Kathleen J. Kroll began her judicial career with election to Palm Beach County Court in 1984, and was appointed to the 15th Circuit Judiciary in 1994. She served as Chief Judge for the Circuit from July 2005 to June 2009 and is currently the Administrative Judge in the Juvenile Division. After graduating from Tufts University, she received a Master’s degree from Harvard University and law degree from Antioch College. She was the first Associate Dean of the College of Advanced Judicial Studies and teaches in the Florida Judicial College. Judge Kroll previously worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office, and in private practice in Boca Raton.  She serves on the Criminal Justice Commission and the Board of the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
